PHP Developer (Surrey)

A start-up Fintech company require a PHP Developer, based in Hackney, London, paying up to £65,000 + 20% bonus + benefits.

Do YOU want to be part of the Fintech revolution? This established Fintech start-up is growing through organic success and are looking to increase their software development capabilities.

As a PHP Developer you will be working very closely with the members of the technology, digital marketing, operations and finance teams where you will create microservice-based solutions that deliver new and innovative capabilities via APIs. This role is focussed on systems design and back-end web service development and data handling.

PHP Developer responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of web service APIs to support front-end development
  • Design and delivery of the core microservice platform
  • Helping the team with planning, software delivery and quality control

Tech that our PHP Developers use to achieve this:

  • Web services with PHP
  • Slim Framework and Composer in support of PHP development
  • JSON, REST and HTTP protocols
  • SQL and MySQL
  • RabbitMQ and AMQP
  • API authoring
  • Agile methodology
