Business Analyst (Agile, Web, Digital, Surbiton)

A Business Analyst is required by a large eCommerce company based in Surbiton, Surrey, South West London.

The company are building an industry leading IT and Digital delivery capability, ready to meet the demands of the brands they support over the next few years. As a Business Analyst and a core member of the IT Delivery Team, you will be responsible for delivery of a number of key IT and Digital initiatives. You will be work across projects in Digital, Online, CRM and operations, as well as feeding into the long-term planning and delivery of future initiatives for the business.

As part of the IT Delivery Team, the Business Analyst will be responsible for delivering IT projects and on a daily basis you will be responsible for understanding the business goals that are to be addressed by technology-based initiatives and to assist in the delivery of projects that support the brands in achieving these goals.

Desired Business Analyst experience:

  • An experienced business analyst, with 5+ years of experience working in project delivery across a variety of digital and non-digital IT projects
  • Specific experience with website development and CRM implementations would be an advantage
  • Experience of project management as the role will often necessitate delivery of small to medium sized projects end to end.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills to operate at any level of the business
  • Ability to translate often complex technology terms into simpler language that can be understood by senior stakeholders, in order to facilitate a decision
  • Experience writing requirements specifications & user stories for B2B software applications
  • User testing of developed solutions
  • Good understanding of core project and programme management and software development lifecycle methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Prince2 etc.
  • Proven understanding of Jira / Confluence, for use during project delivery
